Viking Cooking

Year 5 have been making some tasty and healthy Viking soup and oatcake and fruit desserts.  The soup warmed us all up and children enjoyed preparing and eating it all!  Many came back for seconds.  The soup included:  swede, carrot, onions, garlic, thyme, potatoes, parsnip, and barley.
